Tasting Notes

(Spring 2005)  The 2003 vintage is coming into its own. Subtle notes of black fruits emerge from its oaky background. '03 will continue to improve this year and should be exceptional tasting 2006-2011. This traditional Pinot Noir was produced and bottled by Willamette Valley Vineyards of Turner, Oregon for Greenwood Cellars of Salem, Oregon.
Case production 250.

(Late Summer 2006) What a difference a year has made. After a little breathing time, the wine reveals almost everything its makers intended. Its color and nose have deepened and with a round character worthy of bigger wines, this pinot should pair well with salmon and heartier fare. A little more than 100 cases remain.
